Frosting

Whether you’re making cake or cookies or another dessert, it’s always good to have a few good frosting recipes up your sleeve.

If you love buttercream frosting, there are three great recipes here: Grapefruit buttercream, chocolate buttercream, and raspberry buttercream (my personal favorite!)

The Norwegian pepperkaker cookies are topped with royal icing. This is not a difficult frosting/glaze to make – however, you will need meringue powder to make it, so plan ahead.

The moist pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting is a reader favorite. The cream cheese frosting is the perfect topper to this delicious, melt-in-your-mouth cookies.
